  who are not plumbers could have done this work in no time. But since, I am 79 years old with bad knees I had hoped to get professionals to do this work. Also we could have bought a tank within 2 kilometers from our property in ten minutes. But they could not do this job.

  Our hot water tank broke down on the New Years weekend. One company that we reached out to, the owner blew us off because he was going to Montreal to party. Ottawa Plumbing and Heating came out to our house and diagnosed the problem. The part we needed wasn't readily available, so they installed a temporary tank for us at NO COST. Pure professionalism. We will be inviting them back to service our furnace in the spring.

  Today was the second time that our technician didn't show up and we didn't recieve a call to even say that the technician wouldn't be late. We were having an inspection done for our oil tank to be filled, and now we are on our second week unable to use of our oil furnace. Last week it was almost 9pm before we got in contact with the company to cancel the call as it was then 5 hours past the time frame given. Today, it is now 5pm and we were told "our technicians are very busy and he just wasn't able to make it on time. He will be late". A call to notify a customer that a technician will be late should be at least 45 minutes prior to the ending of the time slot provided, not when a customer calls at the end of the time slot (today was 1pm-5pm). Having family in the service and repair industry, we know and appreciate how busy and long these days can be, but this is extremely unprofessional and we will do everything possible to avoid this company in the future. If the technicians can't show up on time, I can only imagine what they would do to my parents wood/oil furnace.

  I called Ottawa Plumbing & Heating For an emergency pipe that had busted and two families were out of water on November 20/17. We had the tank removed and everything was ready to install a new tank with proper fittings. Kevin the son owner came with an other plumber dressed for office work (not ready to do plumbing) and after returning to their office call ed us back to tell us they were not able to do this work, because they were not expertise in installing water tanks.
